I just wanted to share some of my faves from the master of mixing prints, Stella Jean! Stella Jean is a young talented Italo-Hatian designer, who began her career modeling for Egon von Furstenberg but soon recognized her skill and passion for design. I love Stella’s pieces because she mixes westernized style with the Caribbean. Her design aesthetic is a direct reflection of her cultural roots. Her clothes are functional and fresh, bursting with beautiful prints and colors.

In celebration of Breast Cancer Awareness month we are once again offering a limited edition of Minnie Riperton T-shirts. 50% of proceeds will go to a local breast cancer institute. In 1976, Minnie Riperton was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent a radical mastectomy. She was one of the first celebrities to go public about her breast cancer diagnosis. In 1977, She became a spokesperson for the American Cancer Society.

This and many others was one of my favorite posters I had posted on my wall as a child! I was in loveee with this man, not for the looks but for everything he embodied—creativity, freedom of expression, love and passion!
